The Tech Team Pvt Ltd (Founder & Director, Mar 2023 – Till date)

  • Founded and served as Director of an AI startup offering AI-as-a-Service solutions to large and medium enterprises in Sri Lanka.
  • Managed the end-to-end product life cycle from market research and prototyping to MVP launch and pilot runs engaging with potential enterprise clients nationwide.
  • Built and expanded a multidisciplinary team of developers, following Agile practices to facilitate streamlined delivery, improved collaboration, and innovation.
  • Built and deployed AI models with Python and LLMs, collaborating with the team in model training and accuracy boosting.

  • Managing the stakeholders of Naturb pvt LTD to provide the suitable solutions for the ERP, planning tool (Preactor) and BI (Qlicksense).

    • Create architecture diagrams and ERP system design for the Axpert ERP implementation. 
    • Design, build and deploy BI solutions such as Dashboards and Management reports for the various
    • purpose.   
    • Evaluate the data analytical platforms for the improvements.   
  • Worked with stakeholders throughout the organization (EB) to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.

  • Projects that I managed during this period are:  
    • 5S implementation in Crystal Martin Galagedara plant.   
    • Special cutting project to enhance efficiency by 5% in 3 mouth in Galagedara plant.  
    • Process improvement to IE team in Galagedara plant. (VSM)  
    • Residual thread usage and reduce consumption project in Galagedara plant.  
    • Improved efficiency in Galagedara plant by 2% in 6 months.  
    • Layout improvement in Galagedara plant for all 20 lines.   
    • SQDCM board for the plant within 2 weeks of time.   
    • Special trainings for requirements such as Motivation, time management and leadership skill development in Crystal Martin Galagedara plant.   
  • Asset all plants status under Lean projects. 5S’s, QCO, PDCA, Kaizen, STW, SQDCM, gemba walk for improvements and Kanban projects which implemented through all factories in Crystal Martin Ceylon (PVT) Ltd.   
  • Facilitate and coach cross-functional initiative including mapping business process, gathering and analyzing process data to identify the root cause of the problem, develop solutions to improve and enable measurable results in process efficiency, customer satisfaction, product quality and financial saving.   
  • Play a key role in the development of a centralized Continuous Improvement office in order to keep the customers convinced that the company is truly committed to Lean.   
  • Implement value stream mapping and production cell evaluation and observe how nothing really changes. 

MAS Holdings Pvt Ltd (Merchandiser & Operational Executive, Aug 2013 – Nov 2016)

  • Manage the flow and accuracy of information between both the customer/ internal systems (Nike Connect/SAP, Excel report) by been the main connect person for the same from Nike team, generating periodical charts and directly updating the system in order to facilitate the information flow to and from Nike local office to relevant person at MAS Active whilst providing relevant updates to Nike on aspects such as: GAC changes, Lead time changes, agreed patterns and timelines.   
  • Reporting NIKE Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to the management team in a timely and accurate manner in order to facilitate the decision-making process.   
  • Manage changes pertaining to Nike purchase orders and ensure VAS execution, production, packing, and shipments take place in a timely manner.   
  • Coordinate with all other sub ordinates to deliver the optimal solutions for the customer requirement.
